From my information about this game. Chess was invented from Persian and Arabian people, and the name of this game is "Chaturanga" from Sanskrit language. This game spread to Europe from Byzantine Persia Kingdom, and then some muslim people bring this game until South Africa, Sisilia, and Spain. There's a player from Italy his name is Gioacchino Greco he is the first profesional player in this game history. He until made a book about chess and show some other compotition. And until now the modern chess competition game was played since (1834 & 1851). And then, at 1861 on Bristol,England the chess competition start to use sand time, but now there's a new clock too with two buttons to easily the game.
